These model orders are intended to provide guidance to the parties and the Court and are not intended to create a presumption in favor of the provisions in the model order and against alternative language proposed by the parties. The Court may make the final decision on the terms of any order notwithstanding the agreement of the parties.

Any changes to a model order as necessary to the specific case must be reflected by redlining that indicates both deletions and additions to the model text. It is the responsibility of counsel to ensure that the proposed order meets the requirements of their case and to provide evidentiary support and judicial authority for the relief sought, whether contained in the model order or otherwise.
